You can take handicraft items as a souvenir of the nomads and the Kyrgyz Republic. It can be scarves made of silk and felt, handbags and hairpins for women, ak-kalpak (national men's headdress), purses for men. Leather paintings, household items and attributes of nomads are in demand. And, of course, be sure to try and treat your friends and acquaintances with organic products that the Kyrgyz Republic is famous for. This is honey, and fragrant alpine tea, nuts and dried fruits, aromatic spices. Kurut, herbal liqueurs and apple chips are traditionally loved by all tourists.
