The alpine glacial Kel-Suu lake is located near the Kyrgyz-Chinese borderin the southern part of Ak-Sai Valley at an altitude of 3,500 meters above the sealevel. Surrounded by sheer cliffs and having emerald waters, it attractstourists from all over the world with its untouched beauty.
“Kel-Suu” in Kyrgyz means “incoming water”. The lake has an unusual feature of sometimes disappearing andthen filling up again.
