The Ala-Too waterfall is considered one of the highest waterfalls in the Tien Shan and the highest in northern Kyrgyzstan. Its height is about 60 meters. A giant column of falling water is visible 10 kilometers from the waterfall. This place is extremely popular among tourists, as the walking route to the waterfall is considered very easy - it is only 3 kilometers from the road.
From the Belogorka gorge, where the waterfall is located, you can also climb the mountain peaks surrounding the valley. It will be interesting for experienced tourists to get to Sokuluk pass, which leads to the other side of the Kyrgyz range into the valley of Western Karakol river.
